В командном соревновании по фигурному катанию принимают участие команды от каждой страны-участницы Олимпийских игр, состоящие из шести фигуристов: одного фигуриста, одной фигуристки, одной спортивной пары и одной танцевальной пары. Очки зарабатывает каждый спортсмен и каждая пара. Команда с наибольшим суммарным количеством очков объявляется победителем.

figure skating team event
Figure skating team event features teams from each Olympic participating country made up of six skaters: one male skater, one female skater, one skating pair and one ice dance couple. Points are awarded to each skater/couple. The team with the highest number of aggregate points is declared the winner.
